As for Kerry Wood, he’s been my favorite player for a long long time now and it’s really going to suck not seeing him a cubs uniform. I guess I’ll just have to wait for a few years until he comes back to the organization.

I’m sad about Kerry Wood. I think it’s the right move to make because we shouldn’t give him good money on a longterm deal. But, I do wonder if there was a compromise available. I doubt it, though, because I trust Hendry and Wood would have been interested.
