I don’t mind baseball statistics as I employ a great deal of them. I’m consistently and clearly against ZORP bullshit, Win Share bullshit… and any other system that equates players to wins or fictional values to ‘replacement level players’ that don’t exist. It’s all horse shit.

Additionally, I do find a majority of ‘SABRmetrics’ excessive if you follow the game and observe some traditional stats. These geeks come up with a new gay ass stat almost everyday. And you can imagine what horrible baseball players these morons are.

And as for ACB, is there a bigger stathead Cubs blog? Nope. That’s why I generally use them as an example. Plus, they attacked the hell out of this site for months as they do every site. So, starting this year, I just started letting them have it for what juvenile hick idiots they are.
